(3) How are passes and tickets issued?

If you buy your Pass at any one of our Box Office locations you will receive your wristband or ticket at the time of purchase.

If you buy your Pass online at lunenburgdocfest.com you will receive your pass or ticket confirmation via email. Your accompanying wristband can be picked up at any of our Box Office locations during operating hours.

(4) Can I share my Pass?

If you purchase a Pass and are unable to attend, we encourage you to transfer the Pass to another person. However, Industry Passes are assigned to specific individuals only and are not transferrable.

(5) Is seating reserved?

No, you will select your own seat at the venue.

Priority access is given to Pass and ticket holders who are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of each screening. 10 minutes prior to the event, the venue will be opened for Rush Line seats — one per person, cash only — sold based on availability on a first come first served basis. Once Rush Line tickets are available, Pass and ticket holders will no longer have priority admittance. Please no food or drinks in the theater.

(6) Is there a deadline for purchasing Passes and single tickets?

Passes may be purchased throughout the festival. Single tickets will become available in early September.

(7) What happens if a film screening is cancelled?

If an event cannot run as planned, we will inform attendees as soon as possible. Notice will be posted on our website lunenburgdocfest.com, on the Festival Office Door, and at the Box Office located in the lobby of Lunenburg Opera House.

(8) Do you issue refunds or exchanges?

All sales are final. We do encourage you to share your Pass or tickets with others if you are unable to attend.

As a not-for-profit organization we rely on funding, sponsorship, donations, and Pass and ticket sales to cover costs associated with organizing a festival of this nature.
