The Lunenburg Doc Fest is thrilled to announce the partnership of the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
They have generously in part funded our 2017 seniors workshop ‘ Lunenburg Past’, which will run throughout the summer. Seniors will collaborate in creating a mid-length documentary around the idea of immigration, and how it has helped shape Lunenburg.
The training will involve a workshop series to cover camera, lighting, sound, producing, directing and editing followed by pre-production, production and post-production tasks.
The film will enjoy its world premiere during the Lunenburg Doc Fest weekend. The workshop participants and mentors will participate in a Q & A following the premiere.
