It is with profound sadness that we learned of the passing of our Executive and Artistic Director, Pamela Segger on January 22, 2024.
Pamela was a founder of the festival and the driving force for our first 10 years. She brought the world to Lunenburg and put the Lunenburg Doc Fest on the global film stage. Over the last year, as she battled a devastating illness, she remained optimistic, focused and in control. She was a model of grace and dignity in the face of adversity.
Our team has been diminished but remains resolved to continue to build on the strong foundations Pamela established. The festival is one of her legacies, and we will continue to be inspired by her memory.
Our heartfelt thoughts go out to all of Pamela’s family, friends, and colleagues on the South Shore and in the global film community.
