This collaborative film project is designed to foster relationships between Nova Scotia’s filmmaking and creative writing communities. Five professional filmmakers are paired with five professional poets to collaborate and create short experimental documentaries to be performed live at Lunenburg Doc Fest, where the films screen and the poetry/words are performed live in unison with the moving image.

We encourage you to read the curatorial essay written by Tanya Davis composed on the resulting work.

We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts,
which last year invested $153 million to bring the arts to Canadians throughout the country.
