Submit to the 9th Lunenburg Doc Fest for a chance to showcase your film in our hybrid celebration of documentary and win cash awards!

Lunenburg Doc Fest showcases feature-length and short documentary films and presents cash awards, community and destination events, celebrations, plus professional development sessions and The Dock Market 1-to-1 meetings for filmmakers and industry decision-makers.

Our festival pays screening fees and awards are presented in each of the following categories:

• International Feature Documentary Award ($1000 CDN + crystal trophy)

• Canadian Feature Documentary ($1000 CDN + crystal trophy)

• Audience Award ($1000 CDN + crystal trophy)

• Short Film Award (crystal trophy)

• Atlantic Filmmaker Award  (in-kind goods/services + crystal trophy)

All fact-based films will be considered.  We have particular interest in documentaries within the following categories: Atlantic, International, Environmental, Political, Art, Music, Youth, Family, and Experimental.  Interactive web documentaries are also considered. The festival showcases major artists as well as emerging voices.

For *onsite festival* editions LDF supports travel, accommodation, and full festival and market access to a director of each selected feature documentary.
