The Lunenburg County Film Series is a non-profit organization which was formed to bring Canadian and International films to Lunenburg county, films which would otherwise never make it to this region through regular distribution. The series hosts monthly films at Cineplex Studio 7 in Bridgewater and is supported by the Toronto International Film Festival Film Circuit, which gives small groups like Lunenburg County Film Series access to a large volume of hard-to-find films. The Series also sponsors free bonus screenings for members and makes donations to local film-related organizations. Donations to the South Shore Regional Library have helped pay for DVDs of most of the films The Series has screened in Bridgewater.
